The jeans above are designed by Kanye. Now, when I first saw the jeans instantly I thought African fabrics because I work and love to design with kente cloth. As you look at these kente fabrics and the jeans, do it give you the same feeling as me? Kente cloth. However, There is so much inspiration that gets NO recognition... African fabric, culture & style.

I remember a designer sent Wendy Williams a garment and used kente or mud cloth and Wendy said, "The garment was African but not too African" What, Bitch! But we all know that Wendy is a Black White gurl. Just wanted to share this story although it has nothing to do with Kanye jeans
